I did it

I survived the semester, and I got all As!!! Hurrah! Two of my five classes could have gone either way (A or B), but I managed to pull it out in the end. Finding this out was definitely a nice way to start my morning.

So as for the stuff you really care about, I finished my first Pomatomus sock last week. I love how this sock turned out, but man was this pattern tedious. The pattern rows were endless, and that is what kept me from finishing the first sock for so long. My mind just did not feel like working on it, but usually once I got going, it was okay. With this pattern, I think you just need to get into a rhythm and then it goes pretty fast. However, I have not cast on for sock #2 yet. This one requires some concentration for me, and I do not think it would make a good road trip project. So check back after I get back from my vacation for more progress.. Speaking of vacation, I really should start thinking about packing and what not, but I have been so tired and headachey and blah all week that I just have not gotten around to it yet. More importantly than what to bring to wear is what to bring to knit :)
